Walter W. Watson, M.D., MPH, TM has been in practice since 1984, having served on the staff at Centinela Freeman Regional Medical Center, Cedar's Sinai Hospital, Little Company of Mary Hospital, Torrance Memorial Hospital, and St. Mary's Hospital. A native of Louisiana he attended Tulane University in New Orleans for degrees in biomedical engineering, medicine, and public health/tropical medicine. After residency training in pediatrics, he served in the Indian Health Service in Arizona and under the National Health Service in South Central Los Angeles. Dr. Watson returned to anesthesia residency training at Harbor UCLA, Cedar's Sinai, and Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. He is Board Certified in Anesthesia. With two grown children, Dr. Watson and his wife, Ilene (a nurse), are now finding time for medical missions abroad.
