Julio Raya, M.D.

Julio Raya, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Granada, Spain. He then completed his Residency in Anesthesia and Fellowship in Obstetric Anesthesia at the University of Southern California.

Dr. Raya also works as an associate professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the USC School of Medicine, where he began working with Dr. Dorr.

In addition to research, Dr. Raya has authored several published articles on techniques to control labor pain and the study of hemodynamic changes during bilateral hip and knee arthroplasties.
