Graduating from the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr. Kim completed her Internal Medicine Residency program at the University of Kansas Medical School. Upon completion of her residency in Internal Medicine, she went on to do a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Michigan.

Since 1995 Dr. Kim is an active member of the California Lung Associates, a six-physician member group providing Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine support to the Arthritis Institute.
